Finish Options
Non-Cosmetic Carbon Fiber - For builders who plan to paint the hood and do not intend any of the carbon fiber to be exposed.
OEM Economy Gloss Clear - OEM orange peel finish with no more than 3 pinholes per sq ft. No imperfection greater than 3mm in the weave or clear coat. This is the best option for builders who plan to apply paint in some areas of the hood or plan to do additional clear coats on the truck.
Show Grade Gloss Clear - Clear coat is blocked and polished. No scratches, pinholes, haze, or imperfections in the weave or clear coat. This is the best option for builders who want out-of-the-box beautiful high-gloss exposed carbon for a show vehicle.
Show Grade Satin Clear - No scratches, pinholes, or imperfections in the weave, or clear coat. The top coat is not glossy. Some would refer to this as the ‘dry carbon’ look (but don’t get us started on that slang term).
Shipping
Shipping will be via UPS 5 day business. When your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email with the tracking number.
If this is ordered with a Hood purchase, your vents will be installed and shipped when the hood ships.
Installation Notes
Bonded, threaded studs attached to the bottom of each vent pass through the hood and fasten under the hood with washers and nuts.
Keep in mind that while all of the composite pieces we offer are crafted to be well-fitting on all vehicles, the manufacturing tolerances of older vehicles may require adjustments to assure a perfect fit. These fenders WILL require some elbow grease to assure a good fit.
If you are not comfortable with fitting body panels or expect parts to magically drop perfectly in place, please don’t consider these fenders. We’ll both be happier that way.
