67-69 Camaro Evolution Series Heat Extractor Inserts
Designed for the Evolution Series hood program but flexible enough for far more, these composite heat extractor inserts are built for fabricators, custom builders, and anyone who wants a hood that looks like it means business.
Originally developed for early Camaro applications, these inserts also work as a strong starting point for a wide range of custom hood projects. If you are building your own setup, they give you a finished extractor design without having to start from scratch.
Order them as part of an Evolution Series hood package or purchase them individually for your own custom application. When ordered with an Evolution Series hood, the extractors will be installed into the hood during manufacturing so they arrive ready to go.
These are not universal in the lazy aftermarket sense where “universal” means “good luck.” They are universal in the sense that a capable builder or fabricator can integrate them into the hood of their choice with proper trimming, fitting, and fabrication.
The end result is a cleaner path for hot air evacuation, a more aggressive look, and a part that feels purpose-built instead of tacked on as an afterthought.
If you are using these in your own hood, fabrication will be required to fit your specific application.

Finish Options
Non-Cosmetic Carbon Fiber - For builders who plan to paint the hood and do not need any of the carbon fiber to be exposed.
OEM Economy Gloss Clear - OEM orange peel finish with no more than 3 pinholes per sq ft. No imperfection greater than 3mm in the weave or clear coat. This is the best option for builders who plan to apply paint in some areas of the hood or plan to do additional clear coats on the truck.

Shipping will be via UPS 5 day business. When your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email with the tracking number.
If this is ordered with a Hood purchase, your vents will be installed and shipped when the hood ships.
Installation Notes
Bonded threaded studs attached to the bottom of each vent pass through the hood and are secured from underneath using washers and nuts.
Keep in mind that while all of the composite pieces we offer are built to fit well, the manufacturing tolerances of older vehicles may require minor adjustment to achieve a proper fit.
These vents may require trimming, fitting, or other fabrication depending on your application.
If you are not comfortable fitting composite parts or expect components to magically drop into place, this probably is not the product for you. We’ll both be happier that way.
